Hakutaku Battle x 3
Here's a backlog set I've been meaning to post. My LS had 3 Hakutaku Eye clusters to be used, so they set up a time and we all went to bash on the bastard. We fought him 3 times, but during one of those times, several people got annihilated (including me). Hecteyes are a bitch to fight due to their ability to cast high level magics and the Hakutaku is the most powerful one. Not to mention when you get aggro'd by a neighboring Millioneyes (another hecteyes) and a tonberry, things start to get rough.

All in all, it was a cool experience and the drop was very awesome. Its one of the most wanted hats in the game by far, but it sure is a bitch to get. For those of you that may overread, here's the stats:
Optical Hat
Level 70, Def: N/A, All Jobs, Rare/EX
Accuracy+10, Ranged Accuracy+10, Evasion+10

At least I got a Hi-Reraiser. Better than nothing!

Oh... You didn't know? I guess I never mentioned it. Any high level NM/HNM you kill, you get gil and a small bit of XP. So at least just participating gives you a small bag of cash.

I'm assuming you're asking how do I like RDM? I like it a lot. I'm currently leveling both my WHM & RDM alternately (I just hit 43 WHM today, so now both of them are 43). I like RDM a lot more than WHM because its a totally different job altogether. It just feels like I have to do more rather than just "healing" or "nuking". Its quite fun, I'm thinking about taking it all the way up to 75. I've been preemptively doing my AF stuff. I got my key for AF2 and I'm working on getting the coffer keys as my level 75 BLM. The only one I can't do solo is the AF3.

Oh and I did get Phalanx the minute I was able to use it. Its very nice to be able to solo. Speaking of soloing, I use RDM sub for my BLM now when I go farm. I can take on tons of stuff I could never do as a WHM sub. Its very fun indeed.


To Arturo-B: Thanks! Nerv has been playing a lot longer than I have and he's experienced much more than I have. So I give credit to him to show you stuff that I've never even touched. I think he brings a lot to the community also. Its nice of you to recognize him here.

To Random: Haha thanks. When I played Warcraft III, I think I was one of the top ranked players that didn't have a huge ego. I treated (at least tried) everyone as an equal. I feel I'm inspiring players to keep playing or at least stay interested in FFXI by posting these screenshots. A couple times when I was lower levels, I didn't know what to expect from the game because all I did was farm & level up. Now I'm glad I stuck with it because I've been able to do so much more.

Here's a shot I took last night. I never saw this Elvaan female model before (cuz most of them are ugly!). I thought it was cute because she reminded me of a toy doll. Not to mention I've never seen an Elvaan female sit down before. They have a cute pose.

TARU KINDERGARTEN
Hello ladies & gents. For those of you that love Tarutaru, you'll like this post. I was on my way to the AH when I saw 3 Tarutaru (one of which was a Japanese "acquaintance") lined up at the AH. I waved to him and chatted a bit. After a while, more & more Tarutaru came and saw them. Thus they formed a line you see here. I started shouting around the middle telling other Tarutaru in the zone to come to the MH. A couple responded (2 of my LS members are there also). Soon we had a big line and I told them in Japanese that I was the teacher "jokingly" and they had to wave for the screenshot. So that's where the latter Screenshots come in, they started doing the Tarutaru panic & waves while I took them. A couple of the angle shots were to show you how many there were.

Its just a side fun post. I had fun with it. My apologies to those of you expecting high level stuff, as I try to get pictures of all varieties in this thread. Don't worry, I'll get back to my original schedule after this. Enjoy!

Hahaha, those were great. XD So cute~ ^^ And so many of them! Hehe.... but anyway...

That model of Elvaan you showed is pretty rare... I can only remember ever seeing one. I PTed with her once or twice in Qufim; she was a Paladin. And you're right, she is cute. ^^ One of only two models of Elvaan I think are cute; the other one is the blonde one with pigtails. And I never really noticed it, but when you mentioned their /sit pose and I looked at the pic, I realized that it is quite cute. ^^ Wish us Mithra had one like that. I think we got jipped with some of our emote motions, especially /laugh. I'd love to have the Hume female /laugh motion.... so much better. Oh well, at least our /blush motion is good. ^^
