Sure but I'm missing the BLM Hat (AF3). The quest itself isn't so hard, but assembling a party for it is. It requires an alliance of mostly BLMs. Anyway, here's pics of me:

Running at 1024x768 in both overlay & game-res.

Did you help make it better in any way? I have a new Radeon 9800 Pro and graphics seem like they could be better. I'm running alittle higher than your resolution.

Nope nope. I'm running FFXI at 1024x768 in overlay & background res. No registry texture hack was done. Normal animations are enabled. Textures are uncompressed with no bump-mapping. Videocard-wise, no anisotropic filtering or fullscreen AA.

Since you have a 9800 Pro, you can enable all the settings that I mentioned and make your graphics look really nice. I have a 9100 equivalent and I can't push out the eyecandy.

How did you capture the chatlog and the hp bars in the pictures?

When using the screenshot taky thingy included in FFXI, they require that you clear the screen of the chatlogs and hp bars and whatnot.

I use a program that captures OpenGL & DirectX frames (Fraps).

I just had my unexpected encounter with Guivre the HNM Wyvern. I took a couple shots for you guys. Getting smacked in the face for 517 & 438 damage is not very fun Expect it in a little bit.
