i know you already have several requests, but if i could i'd like to add one. Of couse you probably dont have it, but that's fine.

I was wondering if you had any screenshots of when you were fighting Maat (or if you havent yet then when you do). This is a very tough request because frankly when your fighting maat i dont see how you could have time to take screenshots :sweat:
oh well it's worth a shot.

You know, that crossed my mind when I fought him. I thought it would be great for you guys to see it, especially because most of the BLMs on FFXIOnline are Taru and there hasn't been many other BLMs of another race at that level (except one other Elvaan).

I fought him twice actually and after I got roasted the first time, I thought to myself, there's no way I'm going to press that screenshot key while I'm fighting him because 1 mistake can cost you the match. The first time I fought him, all the tips that these guys give you from the forums were in my head, but I cracked under pressure. My heart was beating so fast.

The second time, I took a deep breath before I fought him & put on my patience cap. I did take a chance on trying to put him to sleep a 2nd time and it almost cost me. I lived with 24 HP left.

Sorry I didn't take any SSs. Its just that I didn't want any factors of messing up to come into play.

Genkai 5 (vs Maat) Screenshots Post
Just a quicky update to show you some vs Maat dialogue & others. When I killed him, I got the title "Maat Masher". I laughed...

As posted in the previous post, I didn't want to screw up this battle (it takes a while to get a BLM Testimony by yourself). I took a screenshot of the dialogue (2 screenshots, I cropped it) for you guys though as well as some dialogue afterwards. If you don't want to read, please stop here.

I really dont expect many screens of the Blm Genkai 5 during the fight because frankly it is probably the most hectic of them Genkai 5's because of the damage flying all over the place and the shortness of it (also congrats on the new clear time record).

Thank you all for the congrats. I'm very fortunate to have able to find Argus & kill him as well as to defeating Maat in Genkai 5.

To Ka1'E1: As for the screenshot, the things that were being sold is my old equipment just as I'm succesfully purchasing the new stuff.

To Tetsura: As for the Maat fight & the record, I couldn't believe I set the record. I think it gets reset every patch, but still... being able to beat someone's record, especially since most BLMs are Tarus is a feat in itself.

To Ilkoole7: Sure! I'll post what I have that's non AF. I'm 1 level away from buying all new armor gear (the Errant set) & 2 Diamond Earrings (+4 Int). I just have Electrum Rings right now (+20 MP, -20 HP).

Haha thanks! Being that I'm never in any North American parties anymore, I try to be as efficient as possible when in the JP parties so they won't look down on me. As you know, many JPs have general assumptions about NA players. I just want to look good in front of them so they will have a better opinion of us overall. In other words, I'm trying to avoid being "the bad apple that ruins the bunch."
