If Faluzure has moved on and is actually doing stuff in RL ... honestly, you can hardly fault him. But I don't really think it'd feel right for any other person to just come hijack this topic and use it to post their own pictures instead. (Never mind that we don't all have his seemingly infinite webhosting for big pictures.

)

So, ya know ... I think it'd be good if he at least came by to say goodbye, since it's been enough time that I think we can safely conclude he has no (immediate) plans to return. But beyond that ... what more is there to say in this topic if its creator and focal point is absent?

He's 100% right, Faluzure has quit the game or stop coming to this website. Do not use this thread for you own personal FFXI experiences. Make a new thread. I don't want to close this thread. Seriously it's been months since he's posted here. I don't want to let a good Thread like this end up with comments that he wont even check out so please don't post no more and let it die slowly.

I not seen Fal on server in like months he quit long time ago my guess so yea most likely no more pics of fal greatness hmmm he might went to WoW not sure

Hi all. I don't even know where to begin. It's been a while since I last talked to you then. Most of you probably moved on... others may continue to wonder what has happened to me. Before I explain anything, I feel that I owe you guys an apology. An apology of abandoning you without saying anything...especially without saying goodbye. I just lost interest in the game. I'm not particularly sure why but it just lost it's attraction. Maybe blame it on the fact that I experienced so much in so little time. Call it "being burned out" if you will. Still, that's not an excuse for what I did.

Anyway, all is well. I felt that my absence was the break I was looking for. I experienced quite a bit in that time span. I was sick around last Thanksgiving I believe and when I recovered, I never came back to FFXI. I got into the hobby of tinkering with my car until the end of Summer this year. I met a girl in September and then I purchased a new PC in October to help my urge of wanting to play video games. I dated her & played Quake 4, FEAR, NFS:MW, and a bit of WoW (I only played for 2 months) when I wasn't with her. At the end of November, the lady and I called it because of problems (not related to video gaming). After beating FEAR (which is an awesome game btw) and NFS:MW, I felt I wanted to do something else. I considered playing FFXI, but I was afraid of what would happen if I did.

My friends pressed on. They continually badgered me into going back but surely my account was deleted. I mean it was a year ago before I played. They told me to at least try. I contacted Customer Support and asked them about my account. I basically told them I don't want to reactivate my Content ID if my character was gone. They checked into it... my char was still there fully intact. It was over a year ago!!! I reactivated & lo & behold, I was back in my Mog House just as I remembered. I have been playing since (not as much as I used to), but it's still a little overwhelming. It took me about a week to relearn RDM & BLM. I've been leveling Summoner and and now 74 (up from 66). My old JP LS is no longer functioning as an HNM LS. They are now a social LS and those who still pursue end-game content has left to go their separate ways. An old buddy of mine offered me a pearl in his LS and I've been slowly getting into the groove of things. So many things have changed and holy crap, the economy is freaking insane. I should've invested my gil in a Kraken Club back when they were only 10 mil when I quit. The money I had of being rich back then is now miniscule.

So anyway, that's where I am at the moment. I'm being a casual FFXI player and am nowhere as near hardcore as I used to be. It's just something to do when I'm bored. Most importantly though, I truly am sorry for abandoning everyone.

P.S. My old pictures are no longer around. I deleted them thinking I would never go back to FFXI. So this thread isn't so "special" anymore. I regret deleting them but I'm sure 90% of you are now at the content of where I was about a year ago. I cannot provide you with anything that you haven't already seen. Whether or not I want to resurrect this thread from anew depends on if I can supply images of what you guys want. Anywho... I have a couple to show you from last night's journey... for this is something you haven't seen just yet.

Again, I don't know if I'll resurrect this thread to what it used to be. I don't even know if I can offer you anything you haven't seen. As I said in the previous post, I do know you haven't really seen these yet (at least the storyline anyway). So... excuse the thumbnail format. My PC has upgraded since then and the pictures are a bit too big for this webpage now (compared to my old pictures).

You thought my old pictures weren't bandwidth friendly... wait til you see the new ones.
