As for the screenshots, thanks! Sorry for the lack of posts. I haven't playing much lately. I'm mainly burning through some quests/not playing/goofing off helping lower levels. As for the quests, I'm doing Bastok to get them knocked out of the way so I can complete my Tuning Fork collection. My LS did an Avatar rush and got all 6 of them. They asked me to go, but I didn't have the Bastok-related Tuning Forks.

Oh btw Kyrial, nice meeting you yesterday in Jeuno Nice sig too, I was looking for the old 8-bit sprites of the FF jobs, but I couldn't find them.

hehe, nice meeting you too. ^^ I got some of the sprites from some site that doesn't exist anymore, but most of them I made myself by using the print screen key, an emulator and some ROMs, and Photoshop.

Hey guys. I had a really exciting weekend, as it was the first time I could sit and play FFXI for more than an hour or so. Very productive & fun. There aren't many screenshots I took because its pretty much stuff you've already seen.

Nevertheless, I wish to share them with you, especially one that I'm ***super proud of***. Check back when the page is updated. I'm too sleepy right now.

NM/HNM Screenshot Post

Hey guys. I just wanted to post some NM quickies I think you would enjoy seeing. As for the scenery screenshots, I am collecting a bit more to post "en masse", so bear with me. Without further ado, here they are.

One of the pullers stumbles upon Voluptuous Vivian. This HNM is a bitch. You cannot run away. We all ended up dying except 1 RDM. We had to use Raise I, talk about chunk of XP Loss. In the 2nd picture, you can see her in the background. If HNMs could laugh, I bet she's doing that right now.

I decided it was time for an upgrade of an earring. So I decided to try for this NM in Onzozo. The first time I tried, there were 9 JPs in the room. It spawned on the other side, so there was no way I could get it. I warp out. A few hours later, I come back, and I'm the only one there.

Lastly, this is the NM that I was really excited about (in my previous post). Feel free to reply. I'm pretty much set for a long time now... I'm VERY VERY VERY LUCKY that I got this item. You have to wait at least a day to a day & a half for him to spawn. Then you have to compete with anywhere from 2-10 JP players who are camping there 24/7. On top of that, getting the item is rare (most of the times you dont get it, you just get eyeballs & mercury). So consider me super-ultra-mega-uber lucky. :O I'm pretty much set for a few months now. :spin:

I am also using FRAPS to take screenshots but apparently it saves the images as bitmap files, is there a setting somewhere to save it as some other image type? If not I can always hop into photoshop and do a batch convert but that takes a bit more time.

It doesn't take that long. Just open the pic in Photoshop, and Save As... a JPEG file. A LOT smaller, same quality, and the time is insignificant. Unless you meant it takes time to laod up Photoshop and change em to JPEG, lol.
