Artwork is suberb, technique excellent. Would send in screenshots of my Elvaan DRK, but don't wanna swamp you down with more requests than you can handle at one time, as i'm sure you've got plenty enough to keep you busy. But i would like to discuss the possibility of an original commissioned piece of FFXI art based on my Character or perhaps a party shot with my linkshell. This is the first time i've ever had an idea like this, don't know if you're ever done commissioned art before, so i have no idea how much of the precious $$$'s a job like that would run, but if we can come to a reasonable decision i would be more than happy... hell, even eager, to get some still and action shots of my character for a piece like that. Might have to wait until i get some DRK AF, and who knows how long that can take? Keep up the excellent work, and don't that harsh taskmistress called "Life" beat you down!

Ryuujin.
For some constructive criticism, Samurai hold the sword with their right hand directly below the tsuba (the circular or square guard which prevents the opponent's sword sliding down your blade and cutting your fingers off) and thier left hand at the very end of the handle. In other words, right hand at the top and left hand at the bottom of the handle. This gives them the optimum level of control and power from the katana.
Their stances generally give a feeling of pride when you look at them, and they will always look directly at their opponent, not with their heads bowed and looking up at the opponent, which seems to be a western thing to make a warrior look more badass. Take a look at the Elvaan's stance in-game for an idea, that seems to be the closest match to the "correct" posture and stance (although it's still wrong ).
I realise such details can, and often should be overlooked when illustrating, but the more you know about something, the better you can illustrate it right? Oh and I'm not trying to sound clever or put anyone down by posting all this - I study and practice the way of the katana and Bushido IRL so such details are close to my heart.
I'd love to see my elvaan white mage illustrated by you... I'll get my AF and post some piccies ^^

Well... you want a challenge?
One notes that TaruTaru aren't all built the same, and they DO have definite figures... a screenshot in OPM showed that both definitely and disturbingly.
So... there's a bunch of cheesecake Mithra pix about. (Heck, it's got to be hard to draw a Mithra WITHOUT it being cheesecake.) But, sir, an artist of your claiber should be able to handle this...
A cheesecake TARU TARU pic.
Heh.

ELIDRIN's ENTRY
Greetings all! You'll have to excuse my absence (when I say absence I mean the lack of post) as I've been hopelessly addicted to this wonderful drug we call FFXI! Anyway, I can say that I'm always keepin' one eye on these forums to keep up with feed back and the great request you all give. So, this is Elidrin's PAL that was finished a while back, but time never was right to post correctly, so here are his illustrations (sorry Elidrin for long wait).
P.S. I kinda liked both with back and without so I'll put all
Thanks for all of your great responses! See you soon ( I really hope ) !
