what in the fuck? o.O fuck you bro. who the hell are you Feba? a random character?? that's the characters i've been using for over 4 years...hence the BIG name in the "cartoonish" font that i happen to like and feel it matches the job "Bard". there is no trademark on the original background dude, therefore i can use it for whatever purpose i'd like. you're a fucking dick man...

Well, you did ask for opinions. And if there's one thing Feba likes to do, it's give his opinion.

For the record, I like the font. Any overly bright or whimsical addition is a welcome contrast to the more realistic graphics of FFXI.

Thanks man. I mean... it didn't take much time or work, but shit, I like it alot.
And the font and colors go really nice with me being a Bard, like the colors are all the musical notes from the song animations and the font is like kiddish or idk...Bardish

Besides, I used to be the offical signature maker on this website so I figured if people still wanted they can ask me...

Sorry. Next time you want an opinion, ask your mommy. I'm sure she'll be willing to tell you how it's perfect and she loves her little artsy angel. Meanwhile, in the real world, when you ask for opinions, you are going to hear what people actually think.

Yes. The character looked, and still does look, completely random to the scene he is placed in. Background+Character+Text does not a good signature make.

Of course there's no trademark on it. You apparently don't even understand what a trademark is for, let alone any copyright laws. If you look at the original site, Final Fantasy XI - Arashi Linkshell - Transworld Project , it's very obvious that there is no license disclaimer, which means it's almost certainly fully copyrighted by the person that created it. That means that you cannot use it for whatever purpose you like. A lack of a license is not a lack of copyright; the creator would have to intentionally declare a license that would leave them without full copyright (a copyleft license, for example) before that would apply.

You really need to go learn you some about copyright if you want to keep using other people's work in yours. I recommend you start at 10 Big Myths about copyright explained , but there are lots of other good places on google that will help.

I guess the focus is on the sig, so I won't go into a BRD wearing Brigandine Armor.

As far as the sig, honestly you can't tell it's even a BRD. You can barely see the music note up and to the left of him, and barely make out what it is when you do. His pose looks more like a Black Magic casting pose, and the Provoke animation has the same effect of lens flare in a sig(which is not something to aim for).

Although, I do like the font.

His sig has changed since he made this thread. They were talking about his old one.

Ahh ok lol, I was a bit confused. Thanks for clearing that up! Assuming that's his RDM then, in which case no guff on the gear, pretty sure that's close to the same stuff I wore at that level lol.

The voke/lensflare comment still stands!

yes, i made a new sig. there is no lens flare whatsoever in the signature, its just a random SS i used. curk is not a BRD or a BLM in RDM gear. i guess if you played the game you'd know that RDMs cast Black magic..thats the black magic pose.
