I really enjoyed the show! I didn't think that I would, because quite honestly, the thought of listening to a bunch of folks chat about FFXI didn't seem all that fascinating, but both episodes were really fun to listen to.^^ I'm looking forward to further installments.
Yea ael, at first the last thing you want is to hear a bunch of nerds talking about stuff you probably tired of hearing, but they do a really good job, not just the show, but their personality too, its refreshing, mostly so coming from people like me and you who just.. love this game :3 i dont think anyone ever done anything like this for other games o.O
signatures are for pussies mew mew mew, here's mine
Episode 3 has hit the LBR Website and a couple other Podcast Sites, and a few of the bigger ones usually take a day or two to update. But head on over to the main site for your weekly dosage.
LOL I was surprised that actually made the final cut. We were cracking up laughing the entire show... it was such a fun time that I thoroughly enjoyed! We messed up a few times and could not stop laughing. But yeah... my fave part was my Ballista story... which... there was ALOT of laughing about during and after the show.
When they told me they were gonna talk about BLU on the show, they just said "We're gonna ask you questions... " and that was it. They started recording and barraged me with questions... and all I could do is try to keep on top of all of them without messing up. We didnt edit it at all... So all my responses were non scripted lol so I studdered a few times lol.
Midgard represent! Great job Spazz & the LBR gang.
Edit: I do have a suggestion for the show however. I think it would be better if the "geek speak" would be kept off the show, like when you guys say "O-M-G" or "F-T-W". IMO, it just sounds really dorky & should be kept off audio.
Also, I have a quick question, which shows what an audiophile I am. When you edit the show, do you compensate the overall sound to accomodate the (for lack of a better term) "worst sounding microphone"? Your 1st 2 podcasts sounded FM-stereo-perfect and this 3rd one sounded a little more on the AM side. Maybe it had to do with Skype? I dunno... Thanks.
