My first and second siggy

Bored at work. Just thought I would share and join in with the community.


The first image is the first siggy I've every attempted and created. After some time I gave it up because it was too "busy" and not accurate of my character. You know, it's the dream look of your character even though the gear set is complete wrong.

The second image is the current sig i use for my main. Simpler. Cleaner. And gear-accurate.

I like the second one a lot. The first is not bad, but it's so big! I know I'm kind of alone in this (judging by most forums I see), but I'm just not a fan of large image sigs. Honestly if they could remain under 100 or 150 in height, I'd be ecstatic*. But I know that's just a pipe dream. :p

Anyway, still, really good work. I like the action poses in the second sig.^^

*And I'd be even more so if I could have spelled ecstatic correctly the first time!

Wow, your first attempts at sigs? I'm guessing not your first attempts at anything Photoshop related, because those are pretty good for a beginner. I do like the first one a lot, but I do think it is rather on the large side. Seriously, though, good job!

My first attempt at photoshop. Although, my brother who is studying graphic design and has extensive use of photoshop, directed me to a site where there are great tutorials to learn from.

From there, I took many days, messing around with it. I like it, but I agree it really big, and ... cluttered.

Good tutorials is a great site, I go there a lot. Only thing I hate about it is there are a lot of dead links, but most of the time I can come up with a greater knowledge of Photoshop.

That's the one downfall. Many dead links on tut's I'm interested in.
But still helpful. There are other sites that I've found with good info. I just don't get too much time to actually get around to doing much with Photoshop these days
