Fanart of the 3d sort

Whipped this guy up during some downtime waiting for a pt yesterday and during maintanance this afternoon. Seeing as I'm not a major fan of the Final Fantasy series, my poor linkshell had to deal with a bunch of stupid questions from me this week.

"Do moogles have fur?"

"They're like pigs."

"But are they furry/fuzzy pigs?"

"Do moogles come in different colors?"

And so on....

How would you feel about making a Chocaru or a Tarobo?

I know this one made the rounds at a couple of forums back when I first finished him, but not sure if he ever hit this one or not. I don't play a Taru and I hate playing WHM, and yet I somehow got it in my head that I needed to crochet a Taru in WHM AF gear, just to see if I could. 10 days later, and not only did I have a Taru, but also a couple of elemental staves and a gobbie-bag full of crystals. (everything I make is for sale, by the way)

How would you feel about making a Chocaru or a Tarobo?

Chocobos are definitely in the works, but at the moment the next things I'll be doing are catuars in an effort to rid myself of an overabundance of green yarn

Yeah, based on the response to these guys, I'm definitely going to need to make a choco.

And happily, the Taru has found a new home (after some customization, that is)

Yeah, that's why I don't put them on Ebay - that's already been shut down in the past (but the millions of gil up for sale don't get removed).

Those are awesome. And they only take you a couple of days? The cactuar sounds really cool.

The amount of time it takes varies on what I'm making. The Taru WHM took me about 10-12 days, usually working several hours a day. The moogle, on the other hand, took me about 3 hours.

You can definitely expect to see more work; I'm house-sitting for a week or so starting next weekend, and my internet access will be limited to dialup with absolutely no FFXI, so there will be plenty of new creations coming out of my yarn box.
