Anyone here enter the FFXI Festival Art/Movie Contest?

I've been really excited about these two contests ever since the news of the fan festival came out, but didn't get working until the last minute. >< I didn't have enough time to create a movie, and tried to finish a new piece of fan art. That failed too and I ended up sending in a couple of older pieces. x_x

I was wondering if anyone here entered these contests? I would love to see what other people have entered, especially for the movie contest.

Hey Shiu, I just got word from a friend at the festival a painting of a BST won 1st place, which sounds an awful lot like yours, and I actually won 2nd with my submission.

Question, were you notified when your piece was selected for the event?

Actually thats the weird thing, I wasent notified at all. I had no clue till someone from my LS told me my art won 2nd place.

Congradulations Shiu, both your drawings were in the finals, 3rd place was a star sybil drawing 2nd place was Miles, 1st place was your BST & Courier Carrie. Congrats it was a wonderful drawing!

I'm trying to find a copy of the star sybil one. I LOVED that one. However, it doesn't appear to be on your art page. Anyway i can get a copy. I wish i could have purchased it or something and framed it on my wall it was so beautiful. I was very happy to see you win.
