No I don't think he did that.
If I draw something that I came up with it always looks difrent than when I have a picture or something else as a sample. (I don't have a scanner so I can't show you)

Wow great drawings!
Also, Vivid, if you notice the last pic with the ninja he made up is dated 2002, while his other, better, pics are dated 2003. Maybe he drew the ninja a while ago, therefore maybe the quality is a bit less?
Oh well, either way, they are great! Keep it up!

well, the date could be a difference. or maybe he's a lot better at drawing face alone. that happens a lot of times.
the cleaness of those pic does make ppl suspicious in some degree. but like rpgwizard said, date make a difference. (my drawing done a year ago is totally different from now ^_^)
