For skilling dark magic (when it's well under cap), I sort of liked spamming Bio on worms. Toss in Drain and Aspir as they come up, keep barstone/barstonra up, and either run away or melee it to death once you're out of MP.

Skilling up magic is why SE gave us Besieged.

Seriously though it's stupid easy to cap magic skills in a lv 8 battle.

Except for the annoying people who drop P4 and S4 on General Mihli while people are trying to skill up enhancing by spamming P1 and S1 spells on her. >.<

Doubly so if they keep doing it, obviously under the mistaken belief that P4/S4 gives faster skillups than P1/S1.

(Yes, I know that there are other NPCs who could cast them on her, but one time I was spamming P1/S1 no NPC cast them on her, and she even cast them on someone else... probably the NPC AIs saw P1/S1 as "already has it, don't bother".)
