is it possible to pay for ffxi using a pre paid card? I ask this because i dont have a credit card right now and everytime i ask my mom to use hers she says no because she thinks that someone is going to jack all of her cash.

Yes. Just make sure to change it before it runs out of money, or else you'll lose a month of game time and have to pay twice.

what do you mean by losing a month and paying twice? what i wont be allowed to play fo ra month and after that month ill have to play $26 instead of $13?

I use a prepaid card from virgin.
you have to "charge" money onto it to pay but it works with ffxi.
If the payment fails due to no money being there they just stop your ffxi service until you pay again. I've been using mine since 2006.

Those will not work. They must be from Visa or Mastercard only.

How old are you? If you're at least 15 or 16 (depending on where you live), you can go to your local bank or credit union and get a debit card tied to a checking account that your parent/guardian co-authorizes. I did this when I was 17 and received a valid and working visa debit card that I've been using to pay FFXI for 3 years now.
