Where do I find linkshells to join?

I am from Norway(Europe) and I am going to start with FFXI again, the only problem is that I want to be in a big friendly/low mid lvl range linkshell.

So where do I find said linkshells?

I dont feel like joining a random server only to find out that there arent any nice guilds to join until I hit 50+.

You talk to and meet different people. There's no official way of finding linkshells other than meeting people with linkpearls/sacs/shells.

More likely than not, you'll come across someone with a linkshell just by playing the game and partying with people.

Pick one at random, or a name that stands out to you, or one that you have friends on. All the servers are more or less the same.

And please, don't be like all of the other noobs and/or returners who will not play on any server other than the most populous one. If that isn't a concern for you, pick whichever server you want.

Its easy to get an LS. I get invited to them all the time (though more for endgame stuff I guess). But I don't usually accept because I have too many as it is.

That is, until I get booted from some and lower my count, of course.

Go to the linkshell community where a lot of the organized one's keep a listing. Its run by Playonline and shows the members stat's live plus some of them use the forums, gallery and even the calendar there. Dont have to sign in to browse all the servers and groups.

Click on box at top to change to different servers, that one is for Sylph.
