Hi there! I'm currently downloading the ffxi trial to give it a go. I'm sure this questions been asked over and over again but is there a particular server that is good to go to? Like one with a really good population of late night eastern players, lets say around midnight to 3 am eastern? I do know that you have to get a world pass and can't just pick. I was just curious if anyone could give me some info. Thanks for the time!

No, you don't need a world pass. You pick your server when you create your character. All of the servers are more or less the exact same. Pick a server randomly, or pick a name you recognize or something. Unless you know someone in real life that plays FF as well, there's no real reason to pick a certain server.Originally posted by Kindarin View Post

That's good to know. I played for just a few months at launch. Ok I will just close my eyes and pick one. Thanks for the swift response. Now if only my download was as fast as you.

Depends on the day of the week but I usually play late late night EST and then marathon on Fri and Sat's - Remora Server seems to have a good mix of people at most times.sigpic
