Moving Help!

Hello : D
I have been playing FFXI on my Windows Desktop for couple weeks now. I have been moving w/ the numeric pad 8,4,6,2. I will be getting a labtop soon. And am going to be playing the game on that. So is there another way to move? If so how do I do it? XD

You will want to set your keyboard type to Compact, this is on the second menu under Config > Misc 2

With the Compact keyboard setting, a number of keys will become tied to other actions, and movements will be done with W/A/S/D keys. Also of note: R for autorun, H for heal/lock target, F for switch window, - (non-numeric) for menu, [ and ] for turning off overlay and taking screenshots (forget for the moment which is which); Space opens the chat window for actual typing. / will also open the chat window and enter that character as per normal.

Seems to disagree with me on autorun, I'll doublecheck later, but I'm pretty sure R is autorun, not run/walk toggle.
