  • Where to solo THF 34

I've been soloing THF because of the lack of people seeking my level, I've given up now and I'm going to solo until I claw my eyes out from boredom. I have looked at related threads but couldn't really find an answer I was looking for. I use swords instead of daggers because it does more damage and I constantly use tons of bloody bolts.

Qufim is too weak for me now, everything is EP.
Lower Delk. is too weak also.
Yuh. Jungle has DC mandies and some T gobbies but I can't go in the main camp sites because of exp pts and any other mildly-safe camps soon get invaded by a wandering VT goblin which I can only just take if I have my npc out.

Is there anywhere better to solo or can anyone give me any other tips?

At that level I was always keen on Rolanberry Fields, it was ridiculously slow at times but you'd be able to farm stuff there while xping. Bees for beehive chips, mostly, though you might be able to manage some crawlers.

If you're looking for mobs that are more EM > T, I couldn't tell you where to go, but usually up to 40 I had an easy time soloing/farming while LFP in the fields.

Dunno if you have CoP or WotG installed but I've often gone to either Attowah Chasm or Grauberg (S) around that level to EXP on the worms there. Key difference between the two zones is worms in Attowah Chasm link, but the ones in Grauberg do not. For Grauberg, just zone in from North Gustaberg (S) and you can get started there.

Just mind the Goblin Pioneer, he patrols a certain portion of the area. If you happen to come upon the house just slightly to the north, that's actually a real good spot to stay in, you won't have to worry much about the gobin then.

This spot has served me all right from 31-37 usually. EXP will be somewhat slow by 36, but it easy enough to live with.

Awesome they both sound great! I'll try both areas out :]

Now when you say north there is a house, is that north by the compass, or north as in straight forward because I swear this gob is following me!

Not to undermine Aksannyi and BBQ's advice - they're probably very fine camp choices - but if you're going to solo, then you'll also have to learn to start picking out camps for yourself. That isn't to say you can't ask for suggestions, but soloing is a very personal experience and everyone does it differently. I usually search for all mobs that are within a certain level range, then pick out what I'll kill based on mob types, my job, etc.

Yeah, if I was playing BST, I'd advise different things for a better experience (and worms make terrible pets). If you were looking for better loot while EXPing, i certainly wouldn't go the the places I suggested, they're just nice to get things at subjob level done.

When I do solo BST, I tend to pick targets with better drops. A THF could probably do better hunting crawlers or beastmen or even bees and such, which would lean to the places Aksannyi suggested. I've just found my suggestions ideal spots for when i was levelling jobs such as RNG, BLU and DNC.

I would think Lufaise Meadows near the south zone to the Safehold might be good, you should be seeing a number of DC-EM bees there. It might not be the best XP, but it's hard to complain about the drops ... and doesn't piercing do more damage to them? I actually went there for ranged skillup as THF37/RNG18.

It's not that I haven't tried finding my own camps or taken into consideration about farming at the same time, I have tried finding alternative camps, I even tried going to the Maze of Shak. for a short time for EXP whilst farming silk thread but they just went from DC to EP too fast. I'm only in the early 30's I have a long way to go and a lot of things to find out for myself which I am fully aware of. I even checked the level of mobs I found were DC-EM and looked up on wiki other mobs in that level range and what areas I could go.

However, if I'm stuck I'm going to ask people with more experience than myself. They've been there, done it and found out what works. I've asked them for level 34, it's not like I've asked anyone for an in-depth where to level for each level in the game.

@ Nuriko: Thanks I'll try that camp out too :]
