Installation Time
i was wondering cause im on dial-up still how long would it take me to patch up FFXI because i already patched POL.

I have a pretty fast broadband and it still took me over 3 to 4 hours so I'd say maybe 7-8 hours for dial up. I suggest you just leave it on over night and pray that your connection doesn't time out or disconnect while you're sleeping because then you'll have to start ALL over.
It's all or nothing when it comes to patching. It doesn't save your progress so if it stops midway, you'll have to restart completely. It sucks. =\

...I don't know if I could kill someone with a frozen turkey because that is a lot of evidence to eat. Unless I found a whole room of people who also wanted that person dead... -

OP: Run it overnight and you'll probably fine. One problem you may run into is your connection timing out as a number of ISP's don't count anything but web traffic as showing a live connection. You can get around this by installing Firefox with the ReloadEvery extension. Open Firefox and browse to google, then right click and tell firefox to reload google.com every 5 minutes.Comment
