    hello...

Is there any guide to show exactly where specific mob spawn in a map?
I've been searching all the sites I know, they only show regular mob's map but not where exactly in the map ...(only NM mobs)..

Trying to find a single mob at night in huge area is a pain, specially when no one care to tell you ..(x-y)

    Re: mob location

If you post what mob your looking for, some experienced members may be able to tell you where they spawn around.

Not that I know of, but going /RNG or /BST will give you access to some form of Wide Scan, which can be immensely helpful for locating mobs.

        Re: mob location

        thank you both,
actually BST job cross my mind just to have that ability...but I didn't know how effective it would be, I'm still new and didn't complete a single advanced job quest yet

ok now I will start asking here , it seems there really isn't a single site for this ?

        mobs:
        Ghoul - Valkurm Dunes (18 spawn - known 1)
Bogy - Buburimu Peninsula ( unknown ) (lowest level bogy in there)

        peace..

          Re: mob location

Actually, BST is more effective at this if you level it up. RNG on the other hand is pretty decent range even at lvl 1. If you've only unlocked jobs, I'd go sub RNG and check the zone out you want to try. It'll be less expensive in the long run. BST gets Wide Scan range upgrades after RNG does. So if you have lvl 1 on both jobs, it'll be most effective to sub the RNG for widescan.

Collecting items for the Aht Urhan access? If so, you'll find a lot more Ghouls in Gusgen Mines (off of Konschtat Highlands). You can find a few bogies in there as well, but there are a fair number of those in Bubirimu Peninsula on the beaches.

              Re: mob location

From experience I know a few Bogies spawn close to water (in the dunes). Check the two beaches and then there's one or two more around the Valkurm Emperor spawn area. If you follow the tunnel at the north west corner you can find another Bogy near the Song Runes there.

Also, if you are specifically looking for those mobs you may want to consider Gusgen Mines. Although I'm not sure what level you are. Its a pretty good place to find Ghouls.

                Re: mob location

I'm level 30 RDM/WHT , I know about ghouls in Gusgen Mines but I wanted to save time running around .
right now I'm in valkurm for ghouls after that from Selbina > Mharua > Buburimu Peninsula for Bogy and other items to finish the 6 items needed for Aht Urhan.

ofc I tried to kill bogy in Valkurm but only dropped his hp to 20% and I ran out of mp ..
I just cant wait to have PUP unlocked even my monk still at level 6 lol
                ty, peace..

                  Re: mob location

Gusgen is really just a zone away, and there are a lot more, which is going to save you a lot of time waiting.

RDM 30 vs. Bogy is doable, but it's a battle of attrition. Bring some juice and you should be ok.

                      Link to some juices:

Juice - FFXIclopedia - a Wikia Gaming wiki

Pineapple would be the cheapest, requiring level 30 in cooking. You can buy Pineapples in Kazham. Pineapple Juice - FFXIclopedia - a Wikia Gaming wiki
Some people sell them. If your in Remora server, I could make some for you for free just provide the ingredients. I could even come kill the mobs for you if you wanted, but that's not much of a challenge for you. You seem like the kind of guy that has a resolve to do something yourself. (which is good)

I hope those links are helpful to you.

bogy in Buburimu Peninsula is the lowest level bogy in the game, it was so easy I only used half of my mp to kill him

anyway thank you all I have access to Aht Urhan now
but still I might need to know specific mob location in future
