ok this has been happening alot lately im online and then my thing that say 100% goes down to zero and i get disconnected

Most likely is there's some sort of problem with your network. Doesn't help us without more information, though.
Does your internet do this when you aren't playing FFXI? Does it happen at certain times? etc. -
