huh, you can't take jpgs with the trial version of fraps? I don't remember that.

either way, there are simple enough ways to convert image files. I don't think most people are ever going to use teh video function, so it's still a good program for what most people use it for (screenshots)

For just plain screenshots I've found Clipper to be the most effective. It's fast and lightweight, which is more than I can say for FRAPS.
