When to head to the dunes?

Right now I'm a level 7ish, and I'm quickly nearing level 10. My question is, should I head to the dunes right as I'm level 10, or should I wait until I am level 11-12ish?

I would say WHM11 is better, with Cure II. Make sure you bring the spell scrolls you'd need for the next few levels before you leave for Valkrum Duns.
