I've just got my code for WotG after waiting several days do to delays and thanks giving. I tried to register an hour and a half ago and the server was down for maintenance. It was due to be back up now so I try again. 1 hour extention. >_<

You mean the game servers, or POL server? If so you think we should be able to register the basic game soon?

Just the registration server. It was supposed to be up (again) by now but still isn't.

Seems to be up, just heavily congested so you usually get kicked back out again.

I've been trying it for about 12 hours and it still doesn't work. Only 90% of the packets are getting through, must quit immediately!

It's amazingly un-robust, like they designed it to be as flaky as possible. A POL viewer update that allowed it to keep trying a little longer when everything isn't going absolutely perfectly would probably help a lot - once the first couple hundred thousand people get through, it will clear up some for the rest.

Has anyone managed to actually get through since Friday? Is there any point in continuing to try?

They should either upgrade tat damn server, or have serveral running so when ones full it redirectis you to feed off another.

According to the messages on Playonline they did devote more resources to the registration server, it just didn't help.
