Australian server?

I search so Manny web sites and forums that my eye feels like they are gonna start bleeding.

in any case i did not find any specific answer so ill just ask here.

As i understand it now you can choose your own server.
So was wondering if there is a unofficial server for aus players.
I know the game is allot grp oriented and want to find a server where there would be some ppl in the same time zone as me.

Though new players can now choose their server, and established players can use the world shift to move around, I don't believe that there are any servers, unofficial or otherwise, for any one region.

Many servers will probably have small pockets of folks from your time zone. I know on Bahamut I used to be in an LS of English speaking players from Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Hawaii, etc. I wouldn't be surprised to find that other servers had something similar.

Random is best, unless you are joining with a friend. Part of the experience is meeting new people, if it weren't we would play stand alone games instead..

just finding this thread now, kujata has a decent Aus pop. Linliel a leader in my endgame use to belong to an Aus only ls. We also have a decent amount of english speaking players on during aus prime. there is also the DiV ls made of posters here if you would like, I am sure lilith would love some more company in the mornings. that sounds great, on question now would be i have a lvl 3 lol that i started so if i delete it and change servers will it cost exstra? the content thing is a bit strange.


ie i read the disclaimer but it all did not make allot of sense to me.
Do you pay per char you creat or per server you play on, if there is a nice amount of aus players there i would rather start there then transfer at a later stage .

No. deleting a character and making one on another server costs nothing. Transferring the same character to a new one does, but that would be incredibly stupid for a lv3.

On POL, you pay for content IDs. Your first content ID is 13$ a month, and allows you to use one POL service, for almost everyone this is FFXI. After that, you can buy extra content IDs. Each extra content ID can go towards another POL service, which in this case would be a character in FFXI. It can also be used for one Tetra master account, and if you use the JP POL I believe that there are other games that use content IDs. So in short, you pay a dollar for every character *slot*, not the character itself. Servers don't have anything to do with your cost, unless you decide to transfer a character, which costs 20$

i wount be login back in 2 night got a raid to go to but will play 2 morrow, im pretty noob still thow lol. Made a white mage ( ilove healing in all games great fun)

When you're in game, you can send a /tell to Sevv, he's the only pearlsack holder I know off the top of my head. Also, you can /tell Aksannyi (me) if I'm online and I'll find someone who's a pearlsack to come help you out.
