    Marksmanship Level Guide

    Is there one around you can point me toward?

    Y'see, I'm going to start leveling THF as a subjob soon. But like all the subjobs that I level, I tend to treat them like main-jobs regarding equipment, food, etc. (Unless of course, they're only going to 18...)

    Anywho, I want to finally beable to use a range attack at it's fullest. Problem is, THF doesn't get to use one until they're 10. With a Marksmanship skill level of 8, I have to resort to use my WAR... who's 35 at the moment.

    Leveling this thing is a pain. Since I'm not familiar with range weaponry, I don't know the proper place to level this thing. I either one-shot the monster, or I end up hitting it with a shot every blue moon.

    I'm starting to think I should just wait until my THF is 10 to start skilling up but, then I fear for my life...

    Any suggestions?

        This is what I was looking for originally, it takes a little time to decipher but isn't too taxing. I use this to skill up all my misc. skill (throwing and shield on whm for example)

          Guide if you're 30+...

          1. Sub NIN.
          2. Skill MM with Xbow (If you're on a job class that does not gain skillups in xbow, you are out of luck)
          3. Get tons of Holy Bolts, some Sleep Bolts and some Drain Bolts. Don't forget to pack in some Shihei for Utsusemi.
          4. Find Beastmen type of mobs.
          5. Camp at the appropriate skill levels:
