How do I install the game discs with the Vista playonline?

I have just installed Vista Playonline Viewer,
And I have Vana'diel Collection 2007 and since I have a Vista computer I have to get the Playonline viewer from the website.
So everytime I put the Game disc in the drive it says installing polsetup and it says you can't have to of the same program on your computer at one time.

I really need some help.

(Actually its just one disc with all the games and stuff on it.)

Why are you installing POL? Just click the install options for FFXI, ROTZ, COP, and TAU

You follow the directions that are on the same page where you downloaded the vista client.

Is reading really so much to ask these days?

If its all on one disc how am I going to get the games?
Everytime I put the game in it messes up and says you already have Playonline installed.

I know this it happend to me too, if you already have POL installed before you download the Vista version of POL it will say that. You have to uninstall POL before you can re-install the Vista version. (dont totaly delete FFXI though.) Then insert the disk and it should work.

Also, did u already have POL and FFXI installed before you got windows vista? If so then what I said above aplies, if not I dont know I already had FFXI installed on XP before a switched over to Vista a couple days ago. all I had to do was delete the old POL and download the Vista version of POL, and it worked fine.

Another thing, all the exspansions are on that 1 disc u have to install them ALL to get them all, its a DVD so it can hold alot lol thats how u can download everything from one disk, just replying to your post before mine. You could also still try to delete POL and re-install it with the Vista version if you havent downloaded FFXI yet still, I would give it a shot. Or you could just delete the Vista version of POL in download everything on the disc delete POL and re-install the Vista version, and I think thats the best way to go, but thats just from personal exsperence.

oh ok then do what I said in the last paragraph. delete the Vista POL, install the WHOLE disc, then delete the non-vista POL and then re-install the Vista POL. In other words just uninstall the Vista Playonline Viewer, and put the install disc and install and that stuff first. Then after that unintall POL and Tetra Master. Then go to the websight, and reinstall the Vista version of POL again. If that doesnt work I dont know what to tell you.

Sorry I am trying to make this clear as possible to help you, I can be to technical somtimes and people get lost so I hope you understand what I am saying all.
