It should stack cause Ichi, Ni, and San do and Blink takes forever to cast so its usually never used except by SMNs.
Players cannot use Utsusemi: San. (Heck, I'm not even sure if any monster can.)
Blink doesn't stack with Utsusemi, and won't, until S-E decides otherwise. And, RDM's, WHM's, BLM's (on /WHM or /RDM) use Blink all the time. It's obvious you haven't spent a lot time playing this game, or have been completely oblivious to how the game is played. Or both.
Bamboo shadows sweep the stars,
yet not a mote of dust is stirred;
Moonlight pierces the depths of the pond,
leaving no trace in the water. - Mugaku
I tried it out previously and unless there's been a recient update changing it it doesn't stack also Garuda's blinkaga does not stick to ninja's with shadows up either.

Utsusemi: San is used by one of the Promyvion bosses (I can't recall which offhand). It grants five shadows.

Agreed. I've never seen Blink overwrite Utsusemi either.
That's odd... Promyvion bosses are empty type monsters, none of which should use any Ninjutsu. (I think?!)
Are you referring to Seether's Occultation instead?
Maybe. I don't recall for certain; I just remember seeing an Utsusemi shadow effect in Promyvion a couple times and remembering it wasn't one of the standard ones because the shadows lasted a good long while.

Heres a video of a Mithra Ninja using Utsusemi: San in the game.

I used words cause I didn't know if I could post URLs or not, but Utsusemi: San is in the game.

The .dats are in the game, but is not available to players in any way without breaking the ToS. Not sure they could even hack that. What the video probably is, someone swapped the .dat out for :Ni and :San.

Unless you suggesting of course that eveyone on this forum hasn't figured out how to obtain the spell. That, and not a single ninja I know in the game has it, so thats quite a few more people that would disagree with you.
Perhaps you shouldn't comment on things you don't know about?

You do realize that he was telling the new guy that blink does not overwrite or stack with Utsusemi right? He said the line you quoted to take a jab at the guy for not understanding something so basic.

The quote was to emphasis that point again towards the guy that thinks mithra nins can cast Utsusemi:sans. It wasn't directed at Itazura.
(Small info note: There was a time earlier in the game's history that an Utsusemi: San existed, though now has long since been erased from the game. San produced 5 shadow images.)
