Its kind of sad to see with my own eyes really. I had always heard of bought accounts but i have not witnessed such a blatent one with my own eyes.
The LS I refer to I am kinda new in (3 months or so) and so I didnt expect to recognise EVERYone. Anyways, along came this random person at a 30Cap brenner event and this dude is in full pimped out PLD gear, Lvl 74.
Brenner starts and this guy is naked. When we asked him why, he was like "Why didnt anyone tell me I could wear this gear in a 30 cap" - whilst it was obvious of the reaosn why, he then continued to bitch all event about noone lending him a sword and that he thought he could turn up to a 30cap and pwn everyone as 74PLD. Oddly enough, a bought account never entered my head.
Then, we do the PP BCNM run, and as (bad) luck would have it, he was in my team as WAR/NIN. I was kiting, and before I knew it, he was dead. Then me and the other guy was as well. Looked back through the logs while waiting on the BC to kick us out, and he didnt cast Utsusemi ONCE.
Challenged him as to why, and he replied he didnt know which tools he needed so didnt buy any. >.>
So I was bitching about this guy in /tells before one LS member said "this guy bought the account". Thats when it clicked.
Since then we have shunned him from LS events, moreso for the fact that he keeps being a n00b and refuses to listen becuase he is "74" - yet knows nothing about the game. To prove my point once more when I went through the LS shouting about LB3, he asked what the hell LB3 was :/ I told him he must have done it, to which he replied, "oh I must of done it, but forgot becuase Iv done so many quests". Enough said.
Is this reportable? This guy is getting on my nerves and none of the LS leaders seems to be too worried about booting him. Angers me to bits.
