XBOX 360, KANA support.

Hello,
I do not have a pc that can run ff11, however I have an xbox 360 and have been playing. I'd enjoy being able to type back kana when I communicate with my japanese party members. I'm looking for possible solutions. One said that I can buy the japanese version of ff11 for xbox 360, install that and use it. Guess I could get a kana-keyboard then, and use that keyboard when I'm playing the japanese version of ff11.

So here are some questions:
If I install the japanese version of ff11 on my xbox 360 how will that affect my english version? Hopefully my account wont be banned. I did notice on ebay someone selling the japanese version of ff11 and an xbox live account ( jp version ).

Will the jp install affect the USA install?

I don't know about installing it but I do know that many consoles are region locked and I'm sure this applies to the Xbox360. What this means is that you can't even use the installs on an NA Xbox360 without having a mod chip installed.


If you could get the Jp install on the machine you'd have no real troubles as it has english options for NPCs and such. I don't think they check clients rnough to get you banned from POL either. I will say that it would probabaly replace the NA client on the HDD and you'd be running off that from now one.

The only trouble people have had with the JP client is that you can't update your NA account info with it. You need NA POL to update billing and such....
