I will have to look into replacing my video card if it is. I just want to be sure before I go spending extra money.

    Thanks
Thats common with popups or hitting random buttons accidently (windows key, etc)
of course it could be the card, personaly im not sure. I know when i had to get a new one, luckily my comp didnt let me install it until i had the card

      Re: ffxi config.

I can be just standing in my moghouse, not touching a key. There is a pop-up thing I have seen flash on my task bar but I can track down what program is doing it.

I have run spyware and malware and antivirus programs and there is nothing on it. I guess I will start pricing them just in case.

It's most likely windows update or some software that does regular monitoring like your firewall, virus protection or spyware.

Eh, I'm not too sure to be honest. As far as I know people randomly losing full screen mode happens occasionally for most people, on most games.

But if it does happen "every 15 minutes" as you say then it's definately an underlying problem with your video card (implied by -1) and upgrading should resolve/reduce the issue. I know I occasionally got this problem on my PC (3 years old with a very cheap ATI Radeon 9000 upgrade) but have never got on my laptop which is brand new and "Vista-Capable" apparently...

Anyway, see if the problem keeps happening regularly and annoyingly then get a new video card =D
