A notice pops up before I log on to FFXI telling me about the free trial is almost up. It says i should click on a content ID and view the billing info, or something like that, but when I click on it, nothing happens

If you provided valid billing information when you set up the account you don't have to do a thing. Just keep playing (but monitor your credit/debit statements to make sure the bills are showing up correctly).

Square-Enix is very good about making sure their billing is as accurate as possible, so I doubt you'll have any issues.

Incidentally, your first "paid" period after the trial is pro-rated for the number of days left in that month after the trial ends; so in a 30 day month like November, if your trial ends on the 15th, you'd only pay for the remaining 15 days.

After that first paid month however, you pay the full monthly price no matter how many days in the month you keep the service active; if you cancel a content ID on the 2nd, you still pay for the whole month.

ah thanks man. Yeay my trial is gonna end on the 5th of November

But as long as everything works out, I expect to still be laying well after hallowe'en
