How do I access my Screen Captures?

I know how to take screencaps in the game and how to get to them in the PlayOnline viewer. Even tried mailing the caps to one of my email adresses but the mail never arrives..

I've tried Hotmail and three personal server accounts.

So how do I access my screen caps so I can post them elsewhere online? Is there a setting somewhere where I can set it to save my screen caps to a certain folder on my PC?

If you are playing on PC then they are already saved to a specific folder in the PlayOnline directory. Don't remember the path though.

Thanks.. Found the place it keeps my screen caps.

Is there any time you can take screen caps of your own Choco chick? It won't let me while it's in the stable.

You can always get fraps. SE is very picky with what they want us to take screenies of.

Yeah, but if you are to use SE's screencapture for it. Then you can only get images of the adult chocobo when you call it to ride.

For a one-off screenshot on PC, you can just hit Print Screen and Paste the image into Paint when you log out. It'll default to .bmp format, but you can save it as something else if you want (e.g. .jpg, .gif). You can manipulate it as you would any other picture.

For example, here's a picture of my chocobo that I took yesterday using this method. It's been resized and slightly retouched (using a more sensible package than Paint ).

If you will be taking more than a few pics every now and then, I'd recommend Fraps. The in-game screen capture tool always made the pics look too dark for me, but Fraps works fine.

Be careful though, once you install the demo of Fraps, don't try installing the full version unless you paid for it, as it won't work.... But you wouldn't get it by any other means now, would you...?
