few days trial?

hello, I'm not sure where i can check this/read about this.
so I'll try to ask here.
currently i'm playing wow, but i'm tired of it, so i wanted to try this game out.
is there some kind of 1 week free trial where i can test the game before i decide to purchase it?

Unfortunately you have to purchase the game to get your free trial(dumb, I know) but you get one month free.

There is a way to get a buddy pass for 14 days I think. You may be able to get one in this thread.

actually, the buddy pass is good for a full 30 days -- of just the base game though.

Should give him a good basic idea of the game, though. Anywhere in RoZ, CoP, or ToAU would be too dangerous for a newbie I think. I don't remember going into any expansion area for the first month.

Actually, not quite, since one can start partying up in Korroloka Tunnel (RoZ) at 14sh or so...
