Need a money plan for myself..

Im sure you all have read these topics before, but I need a good way to make money in this game, but I don't wanna get bored halfway through and stop. Anywho, right now I'm a Windy rank 2 Mithra, lv.31 SAM/18 WAR. Also got a 31MNK, but no equipment for him (or the WAR). I got THF to lv.6 before getting bored. Got quite a few jobs in the 3-6 range. Now I wanna level SAM or NIN once I unlock it, but I have next to no money. I only have..2k I believe. Yeah. I got lv.2 Cooking and lv.1 Fishing, that's it.

So someone tell me a good way to rake in some moolah to fund my SAM and WAR at least, and if possible NIN (only to 15 or so). I'm in Bastok now if it matters.

Well, I can only tell you two ways to make money.

1.) BCNM
2.) Farm, Farm, Farm.

But don't worry, once you get a higher level you'll be able to make money easier. The only problems faced with farming is the extreme boredom and the competition.

Step 1: Level THF to 15, yes, TH1 does make a big difference.
Step 2: Go to vomp hill or whatever it is in North Gustaberg and kill bees up by where the Bee NM pops (Stinging Sophie). Save all drops from them and sell the stacks on AH. With TH1, you should be getting about 3 stacks of chips an hour. Check to see what a single stack sells for on the AH on your server. Mutliply by 3 and you have your gil earned per hour.

2. Low level crafts
3. Crafts in general (see what sells well, and make it)

Really, it's not as complex at some people might lead you to believe.

K thanks, I'll go ahead and level up THF now since I'm near gustaburg. I have no real clue on BCNMs and things to craft to make money, really. I am VERY ignorant to the ways of making money. All I've heard is to either fish Moat Carps or farm Silk/Bee Hive Chips. Thanks for the help again!

Even tho the money is not as good as it used to be the Konschtat Highlands could be a good place to farm you can get beehive chips, sheep skins, grain seeds, and notorious monster(s) namely Stray Merry.

Sheepskins can be crafted into Sheep Leather Lv2 leather craft.
1x Dark Crystal
1x Sheepskin
1x Distilled Watter
1x Windrest Tea Leaves

Sheep Wool Lv 4 leather craft.
1x Wind Crystal
2x Sheepskins
(note sheep skins are not stackable but leather and wool is stackable)

And Rams (avoid the NM rams at your point) with higher level leather crafting are worth some money, and if nothing else after being mauled by Rams a few times as a newbie it felt so sweet to takeing those down.

Now I gotta find a good...... well ok source of Farming income as a LV 60 Dark Knight/Thief (I have not been leveling actively due to real life). Yes that was a very embarrassing admission to make.

Buy random stuff from stores and sell on the AH to people who are too lazy to walk to the stores themself.

I still think one of the best ways is to just spend an extra $1 for another content ID and run the Aspir quest repeatedly. It takes about 1.5 hours to mail all the cornettes (for fame) and do the quest steps. On my server I can buy the test answers for about 40k and aspir sells for about 190-200k. That's 100k gil/hour, vastly more than any low level farming or crafting method I've heard of.

I used to do that a lot. Its only a pain when Bastok is last and you can't buy Cornettes
