Question from a beginner -

Heyas

I been playing SWG for a while now, and as some of u might know, they changed everything in that game, to the worse, and the only other mmorpg that might fall into my taste would be, yes you guessed right, ff online

I cant find..any kind of trial..any kind of demo..or videos.. Is there no place at all i can find a demo? or a 7 days trial?

Maybe this question has been posted to many times hehe, im sorry for that, if anyone could redirect me to some kind of review or trial download i would be very happy.

And the most obvious question maybe, is it worth playing?

there is no free demo/trial. the closest thing would be to get a buddy pass which allows 30 days free play with the base game (use the stickied request thread in General Discussions to ask for one).

as for whether it's worth playing or not, read some of the other existing threads about that (also in General Discussions).

What server did you play on? I played on Chilastra. I too had the misfortune of witnessing these atrcocious changes. After all my friends left the game, there was nothing left for me except noobie jedi crowding the streets of corellia and Naboo.

Boy did I love that game....

i played on chimaera =), but no swg anymore, they keep dissipointing me, I just ordered FFXI now tho, including 2 expansion packs! Well it said 2 expansion packs =p, It was to cheap to believe i bought the game AND 2 expansion packs, so who knows what i will get in the mail, maybe a manual? =p

If it advertised 2 expansion packs, I believe (although I may be mistaken), that you may have ordered the Vana'Diel Collections for PC. Which contains the expansion pack Rize of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia.

If you need a helpful hand (and by helpful hand I mean education on FFXI not a handout of gil or items), let me know. I'll be happy to get you a worldpass to Alexander server.

There used to be a demo for the X-box 360 that came with a magazine. The game is fully active on that port now so I don't think the demo is running anymore.
