Question about codes

My friend cant play ffxi because she can't re-register the codes because they've expired. I can get some codes off her from a friend that has the game but doesnt use it but his game is the DVD version and hers is the CD version. Does this matter? Will the codes still work?

They should work, I think. You can install any way you like, so long as you have a valid registration code. Provided it's the same region (JP/NA/EU).

Someone may very well come along and tell me I'm wrong though. :/

It's the same area, EU. But her installation will be CD but the codes DVD.

that's correct Aelathir, media format (CD vs DVD) doesn't matter. region does.

Also, if she remembers her old POL ID/Password she doesn't need to re-register them, and can just log in using her old account info without having to create a new account
