Billing Questions

I understand that they bill on the 1st of each month. However, if I pick up the game on the 16th and start my account, when is my first billing cycle, and how does the first 30 free days work?

Also, is it taxed?
I know it's an odd question, but for World of Warcraft you had to pay the fee to play, and tax on that fee.

no, not taxed.

the first 30 day trial will work like this:

You get to play, without charge, until July 16th. However, the balance of July 17-31 will be collected on July 1st. This would be something around $6.47. When August 1st rolls around, you will be charged for the full fee ($12.95) and they will continue charging you like so for the rest of your subscription.

Tax depends on what region your account is for. I know for a fact that the Japanese monthly fee has tax on it, though it's factored into the cost.
