Register PS2 serial on PC account?

Is it possible to register the keys that come with the PS2 version on a PC account? The reason I ask is because I had gotten the game for free back during the FFXI Fan Faire but I was only able to get the PC version with the Rise of the Zilart expansion. They had ran out of all copies of Chains of Promathia by the time I got there. However, one of my friends picked up the PS2 copy of Chains of Promathia. I can get the cd to install the expansion, but I just need to know if I can use the PS2 serial with the PC version.

Yes like the Grandmom said. The PS2, PC, and I would guess the XBox 360 should all be interchangable. My account right now has PC FFXI, RoZ, and ToA but uses the PS2 registration for CoP.

The only thing you have to be careful with and mostly only a consern if you do importing from other regions is that registrations only work together if they are the same Region. So NA codes only work with eachother, JP codes only work with eachother, and EU codes only work with eachother.
