2x BLM, BRD + NIN. From the sound of it, if the NIN could hold hate worth a damn, that would've been very easy. Especially with the 2x BLMs. My set only had one BLM. And we ended up having to bounce hate around and just zerg the living hell out of him. We ended up having to kill him all the way, he didn't give up until we knocked his HP down to 0%. Now, this being a mission BCNM, I would say that your level helped off-set the difficulty just a little bit. But, IMO, you should try this again with all level 75s, and do it the way we're refering to, you'll see it from our point of view.

Sky's also a good place for high level and/or expensive gear that some HNM linkshells seem to completely forget about. It's also a good/decent exp spot.

Sea looks good. It also teaches you the value of having reraise III on your WHM. And how nice tractor can be. And...uh. It looks nice. (Really, every other point has been mentioned already. CoP rings, gorgets/belts/earrings...)

This classifies as the same sort of comment you hear from WHM50s who get Fenrir and say "See, I contributed, I used Benediction after Howling Moon". Sure, you did more than just watch, but you didn't do nearly as much as you could have had you been higher level with a proper subjob.

Yay you proved you can leech to sea at 60. Healing your ass off - meh anyone can do that - even a blm can do that.

Now get past 8-3... without leeching onto a manaburn cause thats the only way I can see you can get it. You can't sub whm for paralyna, you can't sub blm for ES Sleepga (if you had it levelled and you were 62 you could at least be the first ES Sleepga and work up from there)...

Underlevelled shitty sub is not something to be proud of. You are basically good for an AA cycle and thats about it... rdm/smn is soooooooooooooooooooo 2004. You applied to my HNMLS you would be laughed out the door to be honest...

That's what I'm always told. Well, I don't give a shit what people think. I like having Auto Refresh. I enjoy having a shitload of MP. It's under leveled because I repeatedly try to level it and I get dumbass parties, therefore getting me slaughtered. I'm sick of the stupid parties, Its only under leveled because I'm giving it a break. If it HONESTLY matters, My BLM is leveling up. I plan on getting ES sleepga for 8-3 anyway. Thanks for the idea of manaburning it though I never thought of that XD.

Icemage: Yeah, I understand what your saying. It's just BS when people tell me I didn't contribute at ALL, because I did. FFS, there was no WHM, I was doing all that dirty work plus still hasting and refreshing. Only thing I wasnt doing was nuking/enfeebling.

Edit: I honestly didn't leech it. Even if I leeched one fight, it doesn't mean I leeched sea. I was level 40 for promys. I was 43 for Aqueducts. 44 for Riverne A01. 46 for Road Forks (lol) 46 for Diabolos. Then From then out I was level 50. Till Three Forks. Then i got 60 fast. I didn't leech the entire thing, only Road Forks (yes ill admit i made my BLM friend solo the NMs w), and possibly 7-5. Which I don't think I did in my opinion. But I don't want to turn this into an argue fest .

Go level your sub and come back when you do. Theres no real excuse at that level for having such an underleveled sub. What merrits does /smn give you? AA, and 1200mp an hour refresh - gimping your self badly there.

As for wheather you leached or not, try getting your job up to the cap and go back in, see if you can actually do something other than main heal in it. Im with kirst and everyone else by the looks of things, and i agree, even a blm can main heal with enough mp.

I don't think a BLM could main heal in this battle for the fact that said NM's WS's can do damn near 850 damage. I plan on getting to 75 and doing this battle again to see, but I still contributed to this battle no matter what you guys think. Main healing at level 60 for a level 80 NM is not easy..Even with 812 MP. And 68+28 MND.

Like I said. My sub is under leveled because I'm giving it a break because of the noobs. Wtf do you mean what Merits does SMN give? Since when do merits affect a sub? (My bad on this part, I'm still trying to learn about merits/limit points). And as I said. I enjoy SMN sub. I am leveling BLM and WHM sub as I speak.

Think he means it has no merits as a sub. Like smn isnt paticularly high on INT or MND as a Blm or Whm would be respectively, I think.

If you replace what could have been a higher lv job who could have done extra dmg, healed more etc it would still be leeching. But yea, lv your sub anyway, its not a challenge if it doesnt fuck you over constantly its why we have subs, that and those merits ;p

Hey, I'm not flaming, but have you ever thought the reason you level so slow is because you have an underleveled, unorthodox subjob? I mean, gimping your sub even by just a couple levels can really slow down your invite rate. I remember doing that on my WAR on my first character on Cactuar. WAR/WHM FTW!!!! But in all seriousness, the 60s are where you "grow up" in a sense. These are the levels where you start getting constant 6-8k XP an hour parties. People will expect you to have proper subs, and have them leveled.

About the noob parties. Just clench your cheeks together, and take them. Getting that 800 XP an hour might be a lot better than getting none. Remember, you're working on a 4,000-6,000 xp tnl. Not 20,000 like high levels.

And by doing this, they CHOOSE, to get the lower number of invites. Yes, YOU ARE paying to play this game. But so are the people who you're partying with. Do you not only want to ruin your reputation by not having an accepted, fully-leveled subjob, but also gimp the experience points of 5 other players by not having it to an acceptable level? People need to think about others in this game before they think about what they want. I could have damn well chose /WAR for my White Mage. It's 75, do you think I'd seriously be 75 if I went WHM/WAR to all my parties? It's a group game, just because you sub what YOU want, doesn't mean it's what everyone else wants. And therefore, your invites will start to sag. Imagine it like this, you see.

Having a gimped sub is like having a dirty car. People will laugh at you. You can avoid this by taking the time, and having the incentive to wash your car, and clean it (level your sub). It doesn't matter how skilled a player you are. If somebody doesn't know you, then they'll chose the 60RDM with the fully leveled, orthodox sub. I just don't understand why people don't get this concept. It's all about what "they think is best", then complain when they go out of the norm, and their invites lack. This is a team effort, likewise, you need to be a part of the team. Having a gimp sub, and gear is like coming to a football game without your shoulder pads and helmet. There's only so much you can do without all the proper equipment.

When soloing, yes I can choose anything from blm/whm to blm/rng! Nobody else has the right to judge what subjobs I use, just as long as I enjoy it.

However, in party situations, and in order to properly level up your main job, people will have expectations that will support your main job. If I sub ranger for black mage, I will not get past level 20, because ranger does not add anything beneficial to my main job. I personally am surprised how he managed to level his rdm to 60, without having a subjob that properly supports it (blm or whm).

Overall, if you have a proper subjob, you will get more party invites and you will have no problem reaching 75.

However, I would die to see the day that a rdm reaches 75 in a short period of time, while the only subjob he has to offer is summoner.
