Switch to a level 1 job, walk outside, attack something, and die.

If you die, you go back to your home point, so hopefully you didn't set your home point in bastok xD. If it's in sandy then you can warp straight there.. If it's in valkurm, then you'll take the north exit out of valkurm and head to the north west corner of La Theine Plateau (kind of confusing if you don't know the way, but you can prolly figure it out) And then north through West Ronfaure. Good luck.

Now that assumes they still have their HP in San d'Oria. If they do personally I will feel a desire to do bodily harm to them, but thats a different matter.

So if you do have your home point in San d'Oria, just die ...

... with a level 1 job and you'll be back in San d'Oreo in no time with no loss of exp.

If you don't you have to get back the same way you got there. So you will go:

Bastok Mines > South Gustaburg (Quadav aggro) > North Gustaburg (Quadav Aggro) > Konschtat Highlands (Goblin, Ram aggro) > Valkurm Dunes (Goblin, Bat aggro) > La Theine Plateau (Goblin, Orc, Ram aggro) > West Ronafure (Orc, Goblin aggro)

Obviously if you see gobs in Gustaburg they will aggro too, but you shouldn't see them. If you're a magic caster, in the Konschtat Highlands, Valkurm Dunes and La Theine Plateau Elementals spawn with the weather and they will aggro magic. At night there will also be undead along the way in all those zones.

And this is just a game, so have fun on you're way back.

Realistically there's no reason for him to return to Bastok for the time being unless he wants to start the Three Kingdoms mission (Mission 6) which basically requires you to globe-trot to all 3 cities to get rank 3 - and he's not high enough level to do so anyway, if he's still levelling in Valkurm.

Travelling to Windurst is very inconvenient and out of the way imo. I personally would stick to Sandoria while I'm still levelling up around the Dunes. It is much closer and easier to travel to.

Next I would try to push myself to level 20. Travel to Jeuno and get myself a Chocobo pass before I attemp to travel back to Windurst.

If you're still having trouble by the time I get on tonight (sometime after 5pm EST), I can help you get back. Just send me a tell in game and I'll assist.

It's not better. It's just that that's where everyone goes. To get a party in Buburimu, you pretty much have to start it yourself and probably convince several people to come there from Valkurm. Most people don't want to hassle with that, so they just go to Valkurm.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

OK, good. I only play with guys from my LS anyway, and we started in Windy, so that works out well.

Now if only Windy could control the penninsula so I can run a supply run to that outpost to free up the warp!
