How easy is it to get a pickup party at the alternative places? I always assumed that most people going to places outside of you normal lvling areas were statics or a ls formed party and you would not stand a good chance of getting a party in those places.

You dont really stand a chance. Japanese parties seem to be up for the idea, EU and NA rarely, even if it is better heh.
