World Passes

How do I get a World Pass?
And how long do they last?
Will I not be able to get one since I am in the free tiral?
Anything else I should know?

you can buy it from an npc in each of the 3 starting countries.
ffxi.somepage.com to find the npc.

the pass is valid for 5 ppl. im not positive if there is a time limit on them.
you should be able to get it with ur free trial, just talk to the npc, pay a small amount of gil and they will give you a series of numbers for you to give to your friend.

when your friend is creating his/her character, there will be a time where you can enter this number. if you do not enter the number, it will randomly send you to a server.

note: if you have created 1 character already, all your following characters will goto the same server unless otherwise specified (entering another world pass for that character).

World Passes last one week from purchase. The price fluctuates a bit, though I'm not sure if that's based on server population or the number of WPs sold recently. The last several dozen I've bought for Remora were between 2k and 3k gil each.
