oh geez lol these seem complicated >.<

basically if i save a macro i avent got to tell my toon to attack a selected mob.. it will do it anyway?

sorry im still installin the game lol.. never played before

i've been lookin at the n00b guide at the top and figured a few bits out i think :/

    <t> = target?

    so to attack a mob..

    /a <t> ?
    /ma "cure" <t> target = me?

ok there the basic ones i will need i think lol..
how do i make it check a mob?
and how do i make it cureat like 50% hp?

    thnx in advance

    Re: macro's

<t> is your current target. If you're engaged in battle (attacking), this is the mob you're fighting, so /ma "Cure" <t> will cast Cure on the mob. If the mob is undead, that will do damage. Otherwise it will waste the MP for the Cure spell and have absolutely no effect.

/check <t> or /c <t> will check your current target.

There is no way to make a macro trigger under certain conditions (like 50% HP). Macros are just lists of commands.

    Double Post Edited:
Also, I could be wrong, but I believe /a(ttack) doesn't take a target argument (like <t>). It's /attack on and /attack off, to start auto-attacking and disengage, respectively, and always works on your current target.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

        Re: macro's

        /ma "Cure" <me>

        Double Post Edited:
By the way, they're case-sensitive, so it has to be "Cure," not "cure."

          Re: macro's

Quotes are only neccessary for multi-worded spells/abilities like "Cure II". Stuff like Boost, Double-Up, Berserk, etc. don't need quotes.

They are case sensitive though, yes.

            Re: macro's

Does anyone know if there is a forum or page just for macros commands that would help someone new to the game try to sort it all out and get better at understaning it???
