hi im new and have few questions, first is my mog house storage is fillin up and im tryin to auction most of it but is there any way of gettin more space in mog house,

second i just reached lvl 10 war and was wandering best places for me to fight (my home city is bastock) i havent really gone any further than north gunstbesg(or what ever its called)

and finally if i want parties is it beter to use the auto party, put myself on the lookin for party list or iinvite people to my party. ty in advance

1. there are quests you can do to enlarge your MH, but they require a decent amount of fame in your home nation

That link will guide you through Mog House inventory increase.

Level 10 Warrior should get to Lv12 then head off to Valkurm Dunes, where you'll have to start finding parties to gain XP with.

no, that is rank. fame is a seperate thing based on the number of quests you do.

you can add more spaces to your mog house, but at level ten WAR you probably aren't ready/able to. Remember, use your "numpad+" key while in your menu then select "Sort" and choose "Auto"

This will compress and organize your items as best as possible.



At your level, i'd reccomend picking up signet from a gate guard and going to Dangruf Wadi. Fight Goblins and Lizards, they drop "Fire Crystals". A stack of these will sell on the AH for about 4k-8k, depending on time and server.


And don't even bother with Auto-party, it's pretty much entirely worthless

o yea are also wanted to ask what sort of monsters should i be fightin at the moment i fight mainly orney sheep, goblins, and at night the skeletons and dark wolfs, i get around 30-60 xp with the empress band on,

at level 10, 30-60 xp sounds about right. Any more per kill than that, and you're actually getting less exp over time because the monsters are taking more time to kill since they're harder.

when you head to valkrum dunes, bring a stack of "prism powder" if you can manage to afford it. it's under auction house >>> medicines. it's expensive, but it makes you invisible for awhile, and makes it easier to run around in valkrum without having to worry so much about goblins. remember, bats, skeletons, and ghosts will still attack you even when you're invisible. If you can't afford it, then don't worry about it too much.

It is possible for you to go to the dunes at level 10, but for newer players I probably wouldn't recommend it right off the bat. So like other people have suggested it would be wise to go at level 12. Make sure though that you have equipment that will last you a while. This is because it is pain to have to go back and forth between the Dunes and Bastok unless you have the option of outpost warp. Which I do recommend obtaining Valkurm Dunes outpost warp as soon as possible.

When it comes to one's moghouse it is best to sell all unnecessary items. For example a "rabbit hide" is one such item to get rid of. Mainly just any normal items you wouldn't need. Items to keep are items for quests and equipment for a job. Although I do recommend trying to complete a quest that you have an item for as soon as possible. There are three main reasons for this:

1) More space becomes available.
2) You gain just a little bit more fame; allowing you to flag other quests.
3) There is almost always a reward involved.

Those are just some of my opionions on that subject.

Also at his level I would be surprised if he can manage to afford such items. I'd be happier to see up to date gear on a new player then to see them with sub par gear and using prism powders and silent oils.

The early levels are actually a really great time to practice one's skills at dodging aggro. Yes it can be dangerous at take some time, but trust me it will come in handy some day. A lot of dodging aggro comes out of using strategy when moving around zones and you kind of need to know a lot of a zone to do it effectively.

From my personal experience I did it so often that by the time I was in Yhoatar Jungle I could get back and forth from Yhoatar to Kazham without any Prism Powders and Silent Oils. All you need is your mind and if you concentrate hard enough you'll realize it's a lot easier than it looks.

Yes, aggro is short for "aggressive" which describes monsters that will attack you before you've done anything to them.

You're level 10? If he joins your party he won't get any XP. Party XP is based off the highest level in the party, and those of lower level get less of it. Generally, you don't want more than a three-level spread in most XP parties. Of course, you could always switch to a level one job and party with him if you'd like.

ye i decided to change to WHM and train it up for bit while he trained on his warrior, WHM is damn hard to train before you can get a party

If you're not already, use a hammer type club, not a wand type. In a party, where you aren't going to melee, the wands offer better casting stats (MND and/or MP), but soloing the hammers do much better damage & make it a lot easier. Food helps, too.
