hello there. i've first baught the vana diel collection a couple weeks ago, and now i've been able to start into it. i've gotten FFXI installed fine, playonline patched fine, now i'm filling in a lot of information. i think i entered in the appropriate codes and all that, and now it seems to be asking for my personal information; i've paused filling in info when it got to asking for my home address.

now, my question is, on the box it says i get a 30 day free period. how do i sign up for that? there is a card in the box with codes for letting a friend play a free period, but what about me?

You sign up like normal, including entering a valid CC for payment. You then basically get 30 days of free play, if you quit before then, your CC isnt charged.

you have to enter in your personal info and a valid credit card to start the game. the first 30 days of play will be free and the month thereafter will be prorated.

Yeah, the first 30 days is kind of basic given to everyone who installs a brand new bought from the store version of the game. You don't have to do anything special just follow the instructions on the screen for putting in your name and all and once you create a Content ID that automatically starts the 30 day free trial.
