Question on Installing.

Hello.

I'm new to this game, and in about 3 days, I will be getting a DVD-ROM Drive, and will be able to play this game.

But the problem is, I have a laptop with a DVD Drive, but it really sucks.

And when I mean "sucks."

I mean Really sucks.

So, I was wondering, if I install it on the laptop, play for 3 days, and uninstall it, can I install on my good computer, and the activation code will be active? Or do you uninstall it, and then you have to get a whole new box, etc.?


I would appreciate it if you post your remarks.

you only use the code when you register your account. and later when you want to access and edit your account info.
Once you have your account set up, you can use it to log in from any platform. So yes you can use the same DVD to install on your desktop PC and will be able to log in from there. You don't even need to uninstall your laptop.
You can only log in with the same account only one at a time tho.

Although, after reading the Beginner's guide on how it takes 1 and a half hours to patch it up (I have Cable, by the way.) I don't think it's worth it just to play 3 days.

Although, I am very excited, and hope to see people on these forums in the game.

1 and a half really isn't not that bad. it used to take up to 6 hours on T1 before with the original game pack lol the DVD pack cuts it down by a ton already.

Wow.

Well, I don't think I'll install it because of the "lag" the laptop might give me.

It would be very frustrating.

Otherwise, I hope to see a lot of you in the game.
