How to buy FFXi

Hi,

I´m interested in getting FFXi the problem is i dont have 50 euros to spend atm :/ But one guy told me i could get it without the package by downloading from the net for 20 euros, like in EVE online. Is that true? if so where can i do it?

as far as I know the game isn't available for download..

the base version (w/o expansions) is only available to download if you have a Buddy pass. Free for 30 days, but you'll still need a credit card to register. If you want the expansions, you're gonna have to buy them at retail. There are no online downloads for that.

Best bet is to buy it online.
