Hello,
There used to be a install/setup guide for the JPN ver of FFXI/POL on this website that had a screenshot of every screen that required information, and directions on what to do. It was much more intensive than the import install guides I see now. This guide, at the time, had screen shot of everything you needed to do and I can't seem to find it anymore.
My reason for wanting to find this is I have forgotten my password for POL so I am stuck on auto-login and wont ever be able to create new charac./mules/move the game to another console, etc. Since my version is the import one, US POL support tells me to contact JP support to help retrieve the password/reset it. There is a way to have the password sent to yr POL mail but you have to answer a random security question they have in a drop down box and i do not remember what I chose as a question, or as an answer. I am hoping that viewing the old guide would show me at what point the Question & Answer was created, and maybe ring a bell.
I followed this guid to the T as well so, if there was information given on the screenshots as to what to do, I entered the information on the screenshot to make it as easy as possible. In doing that I basically registered the acct with information that I no longer know/have;
If anyone can help or know where I might find the guide im talking about... that would be so great. Maybe one of the Admins of this site can help as well...
