Please help me out m(_ _)m some connection error

Hi, There seems to be some problem with my connection but i do not know where to fix it :<

i can log on to FFXI i can get on to my character i can play at that area and run around everything etc etc, but as soon as i change area and enters the black Now Loading screen, it stops loading and give me a Connection timeout msg after some time. then i get kick out of game back to select character, delete character menu page. all along it was ok i din have that problem till the day my house power trip and when i get the power back on, it happened.

issit some thing i muz do with the router or? please help me out

it might just be the zone you are going to is down, this happens sometimes.

how long have you been having this problem?
have you tried going to a different zone, and are you having the same problem when you do?

are you missing any .dat files? there was an update several months back that crashed my pc constantly at the guide stone in port jeuno... I did a file check and found that i was missing over 140 .dat files. This patch made it so that the game would crash rather then not display the missing .dats ( like the Dragons Aery camp when ppl would remove the darter flies to aid claiming)
